Recipe: homemade ice cream without ice cream maker & without eggs
I learned this recipe from the
Algerian youtuber madam “ Oum Walid ”, with my personal touch:
a lady who presents her recipes – from Algerian gastronomy and others – in a
very simple, very useful and “practical” way for beginners.
For this recipe, I opted for a
vanilla and chocolate flavored ice cream, and – obviously – the choices are
different for each person.
There are many people who do
not have an ice cream maker at home, and who - at the same time - prefer to
consume "homemade”, so this recipe will be effective for them
to have, not only a delicious "  ice cream  ",
but also a generous amount, so let's follow the following:
Ingredients :
·        ½ liter of milk + ½ glass;
·        3 tablespoons of sugar;
·        2 tablespoons of cornstarch;
·        1 teaspoon of vanilla powder
(or a vanilla pod);
·        1 glass of whipped cream
powder;
       ·        1 tablespoon of cocoa.
1 pot of 70g yogurt: natural
taste (a personal touch)
Preparation:
·        In a saucepan, put the half
liter of milk with the sugar and cornstarch: put on medium heat, stirring (or
whisking) until you get a thick cream;
·        Turn off the heat then add the
vanilla, or another flavor of your choice: mix;
·        Cover – tightly – the pan (so
that the air does not create a crust on the cream) and leave to cool completely

·        Pour this cream into the
mixing bowl: if you have any,
Otherwise,
·        Add to the cream – in the
saucepan – the whipped cream powder, the half-glass of milk and the yogurt:
beat (electrically): you will obtain a nice voluminous and light cream;
·        Put half of the latter in an
airtight box, or in silicone molds (to facilitate the presentation);
·        Add the cocoa – or other – to
the second part: beat again, then put in the same box (or the same molds) or
separately;
·        Cover well with cling film to
prevent the formation of an icy layer on our cream; 
 ·        Put in the freezer for – at
least – six hours before serving.   
When you take the cream out of
the freezer, it will be "hard", so wait 10 minutes before consonant
it.
Thus, a refreshing "delight ",
always appreciated by young and old ... And Enjoy your meal.
